Maya is a second-year PhD student in Nicholas Boechler's lab in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) Department. Her research uses analytical and computational approaches to design nonlinear microstructured metamaterials for tunable pressure wave responses. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, pottery, and covering things in disco tiles.

Tianyi Zheng

Tianyi is a first-year MS student in the CSE department. He is interested in natural language processing, machine learning, and machine learning theory. He likes to spend his free time reading non-fiction, learning to cook, and learning linguistics/languages.

Audria Montalvo

Audria is a first year PhD student in the Computer Science Education lab co-advised by Professor Gerald Soosairaj, Leo Porter, Bill Griswold. She is also a residential advisor and works directly with undergrad transfer students. She enjoys watching sad movies, singing karaoke (badly), and arts crafts.

Sashank Sriram

Sashank is a 2nd year Masters student in the ECE Nanoscale Devices and Systems track. His research specialization lies in the intersection of device physics, nanophotonics and sensing. In his free time, Sashank listens to Carnatic (Indian classical) music and plays board games.

Deep is a first year CSE PhD student in the Healthcare Robotics Lab, advised by Dr. Laurel Riek. His research focuses on human-robot interaction, specifically how assistive robotic systems can improve healthcare outcomes. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, cooking, photography, and exploring new hiking trails.
